Second Chance

We are fortunate that many, many times in the past we were given second chances and perhaps even a third or a fourth... like a failed exam, 'may next time pa', we could re-take the exam isn't it? Second chances are blessings. And they are not ought to be misused, underused or yet overused.

Second chance shrinks its value when we become fruitless, when we choose not to advance, when we turn out to be ' lifeless' and unmotivated. Rather, it must be seen and taken as an opportunity to live and not just exist.  Life is not just surviving each day on earth but it's our soul and enthusiasm to live it. Live life! Consume all its beauty and goodness.  Give meaning to it!  Reach out and affect people.  Find your purpose.

But when we get stuck to the idea that there will always be second chances then we're doomed.  Opportunities are not to be used in excess. When given, take it as if it’s your last and sole chance to ever make it.

Seizing every opportunity that comes our way may mean doing more, catching more and overcoming more. Every second chance brings different and various gains - it can be implied as a new, an extra, an added fruit we can gather and feast on.

So focus on your goals. Don't delay. Never ignore possibilities. Give all that you can offer.  One can never be so sure when a third or fourth chance be granted... if ever it will be.

Losing faith, hope, and confidence the first round of defeat is the saddest thing one can ever go through. 'May next time pa'  may not stand a chance to folks who see failure as the end of all things bright and beautiful.

But failures have not to be so fatal and lethal. When it seems that your efforts are not working, try!  And free yourself of anything that stands your way. When I say anything, it means even your worst enemy, yourself!  Your fears, guilt, and shame are the greatest obstacles ever in getting to your goal.  Aim!  Seek!  Go all-out! You might be surprised what you can accomplish.

For all that have said, it's still God's grace that we need to go through each phase in our lives. HE who is our way, our truth and our light.
